The 71st edition of Rás Tailteann Ireland takes place from today, May 20–24, starting in Portlaoise and covering 785 km over five stages. The race started in Portlaoise this morning and passed through Templemore, where the students cheered them on. The race will finish in Dunboyne, Co Meath.
